Description

I have a PhD in philosophy from the University of Toronto and have authored a book, Wittgenstein's Account of Truth, short-listed for the Canadian Philosophical Association Book Prize, and papers including "Can People Be Labeled 'Evil'?" and "Against the Diagnosis of Evil: A Reply to M.Scott Peck."
I offer a range of services: I guide people grappling with moral dilemmas in exploring their commitments and justifications; I help people distressed by life's difficulties to become happier by suggesting alternative perspectives; and I help people overcome anxiety and self-doubt by pinpointing and rethinking the beliefs contributing to their pain.
To my counseling work, I bring my training in analytic philosophy, moral philosophy, and philosophy of religion. I started my counseling practice in 2004 and provide counseling online.
