Description |
After 20+ years of studying and teaching philosophy in traditional academic settings, I've turned my focus to philosophy as a way of life. I offer individual philosophical counseling and lead workshops and retreats on the practical value of philosophy through my business Curious Soul Philosophy. My philosophical specialties are in ethics and political philosophy, ancient Greek philosophy, existentialism, feminism, and the philosophy of communication. I help adults work through the philosophical dimensions of everyday problems, like the search for meaning and purpose, the clarification of core beliefs and values, ethical dilemmas, balancing priorities, grappling with issues of identity, coping with change and loss, understanding power relations, developing effective modes of communication, and challenging oneself to create an authentic and empowered life. |
