Approaches | I believe that philosophy is not just a ‘way of seeing’ but also a ‘way of living’. Therefore, my work with clients usually finds us at the intersection of knowledge and action. I also believe that philosophical counselling is not a purely rational process but an exchange where emotions have a crucial role to play. So rather than engage in a data-gathering session, I take an eclectic approach to client counselling that encourages articulating experiences in a creative dialogue and co-create questions to open up the space of possibilities. My approach has been very effective in addressing a range of life issues involving mental-moral dimensions. I consult with both Indian and Western philosophical traditions and can tell stories from all cultures where I find them apt. |
