Ashwini Mokashi has written 'Sapiens and Sthitaprajna', a book in comparative philosophy on the concept of the wise person in Stoic Seneca and the Bhagavad-Gita. She taught a course in the spring of 2020 based on her book called 'Wisdom Leads to Happiness' at the Evergreen Forum in Princeton, NJ. She is a former President of the 'Princeton Research Forum' for two terms (2013-17). She has taught courses in Philosophy, a course in 'Greek and Sanskrit - A Comparative Study' at the University of Pune (1993-96). She has also worked in the corporate sector in America for a decade. She has done social work for many years. Currently she teaches Hindi and Marathi at the University of Oxford and does her research on Comparative Philosophy as a Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies in Oxford, UK. |
